This pearl, sunstone, goldstone, and gold necklace-a sautoir in French-continues a venerable tradition. Centuries ago sautoirs incorporated royal insignia in celebrations. Pearls were especially honored. Coco Chanel modernized the look, while flappers relaxed the style.
"Golden Light" is a sautoir with tassels. Freshwater pearls are cloaked by sunstone, goldstone, and our gold spacers. "Golden Light" ends with tassels of cream-colored, button pearls topped by our gold, floral bead caps.
